It’s holiday time… food, drink, family and friends. ah, smile.
So we’re off! Mac Pelican will be closing Christmas Eve until Monday 17th January 2011.
Be safe out there, and put your feet up. We’ll see you bright eyed and bushy tailed in 2011. There’s lots of ooh’s, aah’s and oohlala’s planned for next year already, so look out!
My last photo of the year is of little Eddie’s first christmas decoration from the lovely Kylie at paper boat press.

So anyway, I had grand plans of doing this whole 12 days of Christmas thing on the blog… You know I was going to count down 12 days before xmas, doing a new post each day with 12 new and amazingly, wonderful products with hilarious and witty comments. But did I? No I did not.
Nope, you didn’t see anything did you? You didn’t laugh yourself silly at my wit and humour did you? Nup.
Because I have done nothing accept wrap wrap wrap myself silly. And not in the MC Hammer way…. even though I’m quite good at that too. It’s been a fabulous few weeks of total and utter chaos really. And I’ve loved every second.
So in brief, here are some of my favourite things (running with the whole Oprah theme of late) for Christmas.

I used to have a boss that would bark instructions to me, then at the end say, “Clear as mud?” I’d nod as though I was on top of everything, then think huh? What on earth does she mean by that? Mud’s not clear…..
Anyway, one thing is clear to me now - this brand new mud is beautiful. I think we’re all familiar with mud by now yes? Here are some images if you’re not. But what you won’t be familiar with is their new colour range - in tones such as blush (that is like the colour of blush), Dust (that is the colour of dust) and Powder (that’s well, the colour of powder really). Get it? Clear as mud?
