So we’re off! Mac Pelican will be closing Christmas Eve until Monday 17th January 2011.
Be safe out there, and put your feet up. We’ll see you bright eyed and bushy tailed in 2011. There’s lots of ooh’s, aah’s and oohlala’s planned for next year already, so look out!

Maddy has been busy alright - and oh so clever (once again - in fact she’s making me feel quite inadequate these days). And look what she’s done this week! If the amazingly beautiful new christmas window wasn’t enough, she also made a christmas wreath especially for mac pelicans door! You know, just in her spare time and all - along with running her own business, being mum to two children, a whizz in the kitchen, and generally being down right great. Anyway, enough about her, it’s making me queasy!
We decided to do a bit of an Australian christmas window. Since we’re Australian and it’s nearly Christmas. No it doesn’t feature footy shorts, stubby holders or shrimps on the barbie. Come on - that’s not our bag! Or Rolf Harris singing six white boomers for that matter. Just lovely Australian made goodness - check it out!

So I’m feeling a little bit humble, overwhelmed and just a teeny tiny bit famous.
Not really famous. Just very very chuffed at the lovely people at Finders Keepers.
If you don’t know Finders Keepers - you must get with the programme immediately! Their famous market is coming to town on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th of October. Everyone who’s anyone will be there…. And honestly, I feel a bit sick I’m so excited about it.
And as you will see on their website, they did a little interview with yours truly a little while ago. Very very very great.
