boing boing….

here he comes bouncing along… the easter bunny is on his way.

ok enough of the cliche easter bunny talk. Here are the facts.

Next weekend is easter. Here are some (quite serious looking) rabbits and eggs that are not made of chocolate. A good alternative sometimes. Or you can always fill the rabbits with chocolate - example photo below! Large rabbits $24.95, Small rabbits $19.95 and paper mache eggs $7.50.

And these little chocolate eggs are on the counter for all to eat. Like I am doing as I type. And they are free. Yep free.

Happy Easter folks!

eep eep it’s Elk!

Yes it is! They’re back and they’re bad. Well, not really - unless you’re like Michael Jackson and say bad to really mean good. And in that case, they’re extra bad.. Anyway, back on track - Elk are back with a brand new collection for winter. We have beautiful sterling silver jewellery, the most incredible soft cashmere vests - yep, cashmere. As well as poncho’s, buttery leather bags, winter rugs, and rad town wallets.

And look at the super cute ‘tree’ coat stand - for all your bags, brollies and scarves…

The collection is pure ace-ness. And I won’t even continue trying to describe it - you can have a sneaky peak at these photos, then you’ll just have to come in and see for yourself. And yes, alright, I will allow a little patting of the vests.

Friendly Ceramics

You may have seen the lovely ceramics from New Zealand outfit Jo Luping Design in the store last year. Well I am very excited to say she’s back! Just arrived yesterday are the most beautiful new designs in ceramic bowls and tiles. Luckily for us, and our planet, Janine is passionate about our environment and the impact she has on it, as well as creating beautiful and functional pieces.

Janine says, “All the pieces that we make are designed to last and be kept but if they do need to be turned into “biological nutrients” then we make sure that the inks used are vegetable inks and that the card and paper is from sustainable and renewable sources.” She’s really thought of everything hasn’t she friends?
