I can’t believe it’s not butter

You know why I can’t believe it’s not butter? Because these bags, wallets, clutches and t-shirts from Elk all feel like butter.

As in the softness of butter, they don’t leave oil on your hands or anything and you can’t eat them. The leather is from new zealand sheep - yes, the real deal. And the t-shirts are made from the finest bamboo fibres you’ve ever felt! Who knew bamboo could feel like this.

You know what else I can’t believe - the amount of people into caravaning! (is this a word?) Honestly, since these tee’s have been in the store, they’ve gone nuts! Are you into caravans?  It seems it’s the cool thing to do these days…..

Raymond and Geoffrey

Meet Raymond. He is a Rhinoceros. You can call him Ray.
Ray enjoys a cool drink by the water, catching up with friends over a joke or two, and generally enjoying the good times.
He doesn’t take life too seriously, and likes to think he goes with the flow.
And indeed, he does.

His side kick here is Geoffrey. He doesn’t like his name being shortened to Geoff, so please, stick to Geoffrey.
Believe me, the last thing you want to do is upset Geoffrey Giraffe.
Geoffrey wears his heart on his sleeve, he is fiercely protective of his mate Ray and always takes things very seriously.
Geoffrey doesn’t have a great sense of humour, so would prefer to discuss climate change, rather than tell jokes.
And he does like a long, lengthy, serious debate.

Some people wonder how it came to be that Ray and Geoffrey are such good mates.
Well, only they know the answer to that….. But when it comes down to it, they’d do anything for each other.
They really are more like brothers.
You should come down and meet them. They love new company!

The F Bomb

F is for Frankie. And boy oh boy do we heart Frankie Magazine! A lot.

If you don’t read Frankie, start! It is by far my all time favourite mag on the whole entire planet. I even have the process down pat, once it arrives in the mail, I will not, will not, open it until I am settled, sitting and drinking tea. I must be well and truly ready for it. And I must have a spare hour or so to devour every single tiny, lovely detail. This is Frankie Time.

And now our favourites at Frankie have produced this super gorgeous afternoon tea recipe book. Full of the most delicious photos and recipes you ever did see. Now my friends can tell you, I am no cook. But this makes me want to don my apron and pick up that wooden spoon and be all nanna like and warm and cosy eating homemade cakes. Delish!
